ACCOMMODATION FEATURES
- 3 bedrooms (1 queen, plus 2 rooms each with 2 x single beds).
- Large loungeroom (which closes off to become a 4th bedroom) with leather suites and 2 x sofa beds
- An even larger family room with exposed brick hearth with wood-burning heater plus split system (heating/cooling).
- TV with selection of DVDs, including a range of kids titles.
- Fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric stove and oven, family-size fridge and freezer, electric and non-electric frypans, large electric wok, large rice/vegetable steamer, vitamizer, juicer and sandwich maker. Assorted sizes of saucepans, one large boiler and medium boiler. Good supply of crockery and cutlery.
- Quality linen and towels plus electric blankets on all beds (cozy flannelette sheets during the winter months).
- Full laundry facilities including separate shower and second toilet. (We provide some clothes detergent for the washing machine and dishwashing detergent for the kitchen and dishwasher).
- Large outdoor deck with patio setting.
- Outdoor gas heater and family-size gas BBQ within a covered BBQ hut.
- For children, we have a rumpus room with student’s desk, chalkboard wall, Leggo, totem tennis, plus practice wall for tennis. Hilltops are ideal for flying kites while the country roads are perfect for bike rides or walks. For infants, upon request: 2 x porta cots, 2 x high chairs, 2 x strollers and a baby bath.
- Seasonal herbs and vegetables for guests’ use, and a limited supply of dried herbs in the house to assist with your meal preparation.
FARM FEATURES
- Soak up the majestic views and tranquility – we are on a hill at one of the highest points of Scotts Creek.
- Enjoy a taste of real farm life on a real Australian working farm which runs beef cattle, young dairy cows and some sheep.
- Get to know our farm pets, the camel (Alana), sheep (Sam, Bobster and Ray), a goat (Acca), a horse (Frannie), dogs (Nikki + Tess), alpacas (Innie, Bronte, Andy, Fred + Bazza), a cat (Lily), two pigs (Beatrice + Cosmo), a beef steer (Bruno) who weighs a tonne (literally!) and loooooves loaves of bread and chocolate Tim Tam biscuits.
- Join us at the pet paddock at 9.30am daily for feed time where you will get the experience of a lifetime, handfeeding all our pets for about three hours. You can walk in with and talk to all our animals as they adore visits from guests. They are all very inquisitive with individual personalities and come up close to investigate.
- Take bush walks bursting with native flora and fauna. Sharp eyes along bush tracks often can spot a koala or two in the tall gum trees, or on special occasions, kangaroos bounding over the back paddocks. Native birds include irridescent parrots, rosellas, cockatoos, galahs, willy wagtails, kookaburras and magpies.
- Learn about Bellevue’s history – we’ve kept the original historical woolshed, built in the early 1950s, where we used to shear up to 3,000 sheep annually.
- Take a ride in the tractor when we feed out hay to the cattle.
- Curl up with a favorite book in front of the roaring wood fire within an exposed brick hearth.
- Cook up a true blue Aussie BBQ using mouth-watering produce you can easily pick up locally.
